Paperbackswap.com

I can't tell you how much I LOVE paperbackswap.com! I was all about some book swaps, but then I found this on Crystal's website one day and it was love at first sight! All you have to do is post 10 books that you are willing to swap and you instantly get 2 credits. Each credit allows you to look through their vast inventory (made up of everyone else's posts) and pick books. They have hardcover, paperback, mass market paperback, audio cassettes, audio cd's...you name it. For every book that you send off to other people, you receive another credit. Very inexpensive way to read books if you don't have time to go to the library. Check it out!

Blueprints..

As I posted about last time, we have our floor plan with Mr. Lamar Hunter in Wilmar making them into blueprints for the contractors. He emailed me today with the preliminaries. Thought that I would share. I'm so ready to get this process on the road.
Well, ex-nay on showing the blueprints because they are adobe files and I can not find a way to put them on here.

As for my Ashley and American Idol. She didn't make it past the first set of judges. She never even got to sing by herself. They put them into groups for them to all sing a song together and they didn't let anyone in the group go through. She also decided not to go to Salt Lake City and go through it all again.

I just got through reading a great book about friendship called Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah. It also talks about Inflammatory Breast Cancer. Check it out. Only 11 more days until Breaking Dawn!!!
Congratulations to my friend, Debbi! She is expecting number 3 in February of next year!!! Also, congratulations to my friend Kristy who just found out she is expecting also!
Also, I thought this was neat!! My Brain Age is 27...I was glad considering I'm 28!
How old is your brain:
This is interesting !!!
See if your brain is as old as your body ~ or ~ (perish the thought) ~ OLDER !!
Procedure of Flash Fabrica Game:
1. Touch 'start'
2. Wait for 3, 2, 1.
3. Memorize the number's position on the screen, then click the circle from the smallest number to the biggest number.
4. At the end of game, computer will tell you how old your brain.
Good luck !!

Final Floor Plan

I went to visit Mr. Hunter in Wilmar yesterday to give him my floor plans. I thought I might post the original and our changes so that you can see what we have done. I'm so ready to get this show on the road!!!
Original:
Our Changes:

No change to this:
Front of the House:

We are not getting the white brick over lay thingees on thesides of the carport on the left side there and I took the little windows on both sides of the front door out. We think we are going to use Acme Brick in Kensington with a tan vinyl for the eves of the house, that way we don't have to have someone come and paint them every so many years.

These are the cabinets I want. They are Kraftmaid in Maple in Praline.

Any comments or suggestions?

P.S. Please pray for my neice, Ashley Reed. She is in San Francisco trying out for American Idol!! If she doesn't make it there, she is going to Salt Lake City next week to try out!

Our Weekend

Now that the moving has settled, we just layed back and enjoyed the weekend. On Thursday, we got the last remains of our items from the house, which was our swing set and water hose. Yes, my mother in law wanted the water hose! Although, it is one of those really good, long, rubbery ones. I took one last pic of our house for keepsake purposes.
Friday, we went out to eat and rode over to our land to see it since Chris and his dad bush hogged it. Saturday, we went to Walmart, rented movies, ate at El Palacio and went swimming. I took some pics of Lauren posing in her bathing suit with my sunglasses on. She's so goofy!

I got my hair cut also and Lauren wanted to take a self pic of us. Excuse my no makeup self!

Today, I am going to take the plans to the blue print man, Lamar Hunter. Thanks Corie! We are picking the deed up today with our names on it and getting in contact with the contractor and let him know what is going on and where we stand in the process. Big Brother 10 started lastnight!! SO EXCITED!!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Help Needed!

Does anyone know someone that can draw up blueprints locally? It doesn't matter if it is a company or an individual, just someone that can draw them up.
Thanks!
Notice the blueprint I used is of the Batmobile! :)

4th of July

Hope everyone had a great 4th! We celebrated by grilling, swimming and watching fireworks on Thursday night. Then, on the 4th we went next door to Justin and Corie's and watched fireworks over there and moved two loads of our stuff to storage! Diesel is the cutest thing and getting so big! Just wanted to post some pictures from the past two days and a video of the kids acting goofy!

It's Official

Well, we are officially homeless in a sense. We are planning on being out by Sunday night. We closed on our house this morning at 10:00. They are super excited. I am in a way, but still sad. We officially have a physical address at our "building site": 1950 Crook Lane; Rison, AR 71665. It is wild to me that most of Cleveland County has a Rison address and I can't stand the road name...Crook Lane? Why was it named that I wonder? Let's hope it was someone's last name. haha Well, hope everyone has a GREAT 4th!!

Memory Lane

I got this from a friend Debbi's blog. I thought it would be fun! I hope you will play along. Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

This and That

As most of you know, I am a Entertainment Buff. After lastnight's episode of The Bachelorette, I'm confused as to who Deanna should chose. Jesse isn't the cutest of the bunch, but he has a great personality and she seems herself around him. Jason is super cute and has a sweet personality and an adorable little boy, but I don't feel like what we have seen on tv anyway, is as good of a connection as she has with Jesse. I really liked Jeremy, but I think he would have smothered her. So who do you think Deanna will chose?

Jesse?

...or Jason?
Also, I took the kids to see Wall-E Saturday, and they loved it and I really loved it!! I think it is my favorite Disney Pixar movie so far. I even got teary eyed! I highly recommend it!

Oh and Jenny had this on her site, so I stole from her again! haha Thanks Jenny!
